Employee Assist Programme and Counselling - Our EAP covers many wellbeing topics and gives you access to articles, podcasts, health plans and videos to help with health management. It includes access to a confidential helpline 24/7/365 covering financial, legal, and emotional advice. In the event you experience personal difficulties, we also provide access to structured counselling, both online and face-to-face, for six sessions per issue.
Eyecare Voucher - You can obtain a Specsavers voucher which includes a free eye test and several discounts when purchasing new glasses.
Flu Vaccinations - We offer all employees (and their partners) the opportunity to be vaccinated against flu. These are an effective method of protecting yourself against flu and other illnesses during winter months.

Life Assurance Scheme (Death in service) -When you have successfully completed six months of service, you will automatically be enrolled into the Company's Group Life Insurance. This means that should you die whilst you are employed by the Company, a lump sum of two times your basic salary will be payable to whoever is the recipient listed on your 'Expression of Wishes Form'.
Maternity & Paternity - Stephen James will pay eligible employees the first week of Paternity Leave and Maternity Leave at full basic pay, inclusive of statutory payments. This is a discretionary benefit and any further weeks of Paternity and Maternity Leave will be paid at the statutory rates.
Pensions - All employees who meet the eligibility criteria will automatically be enrolled into our workplace pension scheme three months after joining Stephen James. This operates as a salary sacrifice scheme; Stephen James contributes 3% and 5% of your pensionable pay is automatically taken through the payroll.
Take your kids to school - If you have children who are starting school we provide the opportunity to take two hours of paid time out of your working day to take them to school or collect them from school on their first day.

Private Medical Insurance - All permanent employees are eligible to join the Private Medical Insurance Scheme (currently AXA PPP) once probation is completed. Stephen James subsidises your monthly premium by 85% and your payments are taken via payroll.
