  • How long have you worked for Stephen James? 6 months - I am on a year-long apprenticeship with the aim of becoming a certified BMW Service Team Manager when I've completed it. Why did you choose Stephen James over other companies? Stephen James were carrying out interviews at my sixth-form college and I managed to progress through the various recruitment stages. I now work for a brand I have loved since I first got into cars. What advice would you give to a future applicant about Stephen James? Be yourself and be honest. There is no point lying to boost yourself as it will only catch up to you. It's essential to be able to communicate with people positively regardless of the situation. Be a people lover. What keeps you at Stephen James? The people I work with. It is always nice to have people around you who will encourage you and also want you to do well. Every day is a learning day and I know that I can go and ask for advice and get it. What is your favourite part of your job? Being able to help people and get them back on the road is always a bonus. It's nice to see others smiling when we can fix their problems. I also love the variety of BMWs and MINIs you see coming through the workshop. How would you describe the people in your team in three words? Friendly, helpful and committed. Hobbies? Going out for rides on my motorbike, finding new routes and views. I also have a passion for working on cars and my bike as well as DIY. Favourite Chocolate? You cannot go wrong with a classic Cadbury Dairy Milk. Favourite band? I can't say I have a favourite band, but anything with a good beat, I'm into it. If you could be an animal what would it be and why? I would be a Wolf because you don't see those in the circus.
